Gearbox Magazine
Founded September 2009, GBXM is my “baby.” If my publishing on this site seems sporadic at times, it’s because GBXM is Priority One. Dennis DeJong, my Dutch partner, and I spend a great deal of time every week scouring the digital globe in search of stories which show automotive enthusiasts how much they matter to world. Gearbox Magazine is where we come together to modify man and machine; where we seek to help each other build high performance machines & lives.

Penmanshift!
What is Penmanshift, you ask? It’s a 3-month automotive journalism workshop I’ve co-developed with renowned Canadian auto-journo, Michael Banovsky. We launched our beta in February 2012, and have spent almost every day since polishing curriculum, leading discussions, and building and coordinating a complete media outlet with its own in-house training department. We’re shifting the gears of automotive journalism.

Career Modification for Gearheads
After much trial and effort, I managed to analyze my passions, discover the fundamental components which most appeal to me, and translate that knowledge into a rewarding career in knowledge management. Career Modification for Gearheads is a simple guide highlighting fundamental components of gearhead life which can lead to professional growth.

ADITL
A Day in the Life. This is a rambling piece of fiction based loosely on real people, places, and events, some of which actually happened. I started somewhere back in 2008 and update it as I have time. In the end, it might have a sort of corporate espionage/sci-fi/heist vibe to it, but it’s a back burner project most of the time.

Tarmac & Gravel
In addition to all of the above, I also try to keep my cars’ blog updated. (That’s right. My cars have their own blog.)

Gearhead Manifesto/Owner’s Manual
Initial research in progress, basic outline completed, December 2011.
