Looking Forward/Looking Back Series
We’re always looking forward to something; a vacation, new toys, good times, etc.. Myself included, I’ve spent much of the last two months focused on what was to come in the project. No matter how much I accomplished on a particular day, I would end the night staring at 195 through the side door at the back of the garage, leisurely smoking a cigarette, and trying to organize my thoughts on just what needed to be done, and in what order, the next time I entered the garage.
The ability to think ahead and choose from perceived options is one of the defining qualities of humanity, but one of our greatest setbacks is our unwillingness to look back at our past. With that in mind, despite my continuing to move ahead with the little items still left to do before 195 has officially returned, I’m going to make a point of revisiting some of the stories which were lost when I hastily implemented this site in its current format back in early 2007.
Coming soon: The events leading up to this picture. Bonus points for anyone who knows where this picture was taken.
